Business and People Skills

As a past owner in a corporate wellness publishing company, I understand the need to focus on the fine details while keeping an eye on the ever-changing big picture. I was in charge of Business Development and Sales and in 16 years grew a small, single product company into a multimillion dollar international company with a full line of products. My partners and I sold the company in 2005 to a large national publisher. As a native of Seattle, I value the uniqueness of the neighborhoods and homes in the Puget Sound area and choosing real estate as my subsequent career was an exciting next move. Like most professions, the joy is in the people. I love learning about my clients, their lives, their families, their hopes, their dreams. Even more, I love helping them achieve their dreams. I am a clear communicator and an even better listener. Every transaction is as different as the people involved and I am comfortable moving as quickly or as patiently through the process as needed.

Market Knowledge and Education

As a graduate of Colorado College in Colorado Springs, I am a lifelong learner. The real estate industry changes dramatically from year to year and it is important to keep current. I constantly study market data and trends and work diligently to improve my skills and knowledge base. This continued commitment to education has resulted in receiving several designations, among them among them SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) and MCNE (Master level Certified Negotiation Expert). I am proud to be one of very few graduates in the nation to earn the MCNE designation which is the result of 60+ hours of all aspects of high level negotiations with equal emphasis on buyer and seller negotiations.

Transaction Management and Representation

I employ a full time professional, licensed assistant, Lynette Hensley, who facilitates your transaction to assure that no small detail is overlooked. Lynette allows me to be more available to you as you go through the buying, selling and moving process. We work closely with lenders, title and escrow so that your transaction will close smoothly and in a timely manner. I am your delegate from the time you hire me through closing and beyond and represent you with the utmost commitment, loyalty and determination. Your goals are mine and I am not satisfied until I attain them.
